The Program:

As an intern at The Miles Agency, you can expect to encounter constant change and opportunities to showcase your personal talents.The Miles Ahead Internship program was designed to provide introductory work experience beyond simply making copies and working the mailroom. The program allows you the opportunity to assume responsibility, make decisions and develop needed business skills. The activities involved with the program include:

• Research assistance on projects proposals
• Constructive input/ideas to assist with agency clients and events
• Administrative support
• Maintaining client relations
• Assisting staff at client events
• Much, much more!

Miles Ahead is a career development program committed to providing both students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the public relations and marketing field. Our internship positions are non-paid/for class credit and experience. The objective of our program is to develop and mentor individuals sincerely interested in entering public relations or marketing.

Qualifications:

INTERNS MUST BE A JUNIOR, SENIOR, OR GRADUATE
Don't be fooled into believing that your degree will generate you success in the job market. You need relevant experience in your particular area not only to get your foot in the door but to advance as well. Miles Ahead is set up to give you the edge you need to be a competent, capable professional in the public relations and marketing industry!

HOW DO I APPLY?
To apply for The Miles Ahead Internship Program, you must submit the following documents:

• Intern application with credit verification statement from your advisor.
• Recent resume of your employment and academic history.
• Cover letter stating your desire to participate in the program.
• Two writing samples.
